An epidemiological study of the milk response after treatment has shown that strongylicide treatment of dairy cows should be targeted during the stabling period .

An epidemiological study of post-treatment milk response has shown that strongylicide treatment of dairy cows should be targeted during the stabling period (and not used on pasture) and that three simple indicators - the level of anti-Ostertagia antibodies in the tank milk, the grazing history of the pre-herd and the parity of the animal - make it possible to select herds and animals that respond to treatment and to reduce systematic treatments that are not indicated.
