I am an associate professor in cattle population health and epidemiology at Oniris, Nantes Atlantic College of Veterinary Medicine, Food Science and Engineering in France.

I graduated from Nantes vet school in 2006. I then moved to Nottingham (UK) to undertake a PhD in veterinary epidemiology looking at mastitis and reproduction in dairy cattle. Over the course of my PhD I developed skills in data analysis and statistics. After my PhD, I worked as a post-doc in Nottingham looking at somatic cell counts and mastitis during the dry period. I then moved back to Nantes, investigating bovine neonatal pancytopenia in calves and studying the use of national production and reproduction databases for the early detection of vector borne emerging diseases.

In 2012, I got a lectureship at the vet school in Nantes. I teach vet students in years 1 to 5 mostly on cattle population health, animal husbandry, evidence based medicine and epidemiology. For my research activities, I am part of BIOEPAR. I am involved in various projects such as the surveillance of cattle diseases (STOC free project), tracking of cattle at pasture, cattle movements (CADENCE project) or targeted selective treatments against gastrointestinal worms. I am particularly interested in the application of statistical methods to answer research questions in disease surveillance as well as in farm animal health and welfare.
