He holds a doctorate in microbiology from the University of Rouen. Following this, he worked for 7 years in a veterinary pharmaceutical laboratory, the last 4 as Head of the Research & Development department. During this experience, he had the opportunity to collaborate with the UMR BIOEPAR for the supervision of Juan Manuel ARIZA's Cifre thesis.

Since November 2020, he joined ONIRIS as a Contractual Lecturer. His teaching activities are mainly focused on general and clinical bacteriology. He carries out his research activities within the APPIFISH team of UMR BIOEPAR. Their objectives are to study and characterise the resistance of the different compartments of fish farming agrosystems (fish, environment, humans). But also to understand the spread of antibiotic resistance genes in these environments.
